The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by Helicopter is the most comfortable and time-efficient route to Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. Designed for pilgrims seeking spiritual fulfilment with reduced physical strain, this journey combines domestic flights and scenic helicopter rides while preserving the sanctity of the yatra.
The pilgrimage begins in Kathmandu with sacred temple visits, followed by flights to Nepalgunj and Simikot. From Simikot, a helicopter ride takes pilgrims to Hilsa near the Tibet border, from where the journey continues to the holy Lake Mansarovar and Mount Kailash for Parikrama.
Arrival at Kathmandu Airport. Meet our representative and transfer to hotel. Orientation meeting and yatra briefing. Dinner and overnight stay.
Half-day sightseeing of Pashupatinath Temple, Guhyeshwari Temple and Budhanilkantha. After lunch, fly to Nepalgunj. Overnight stay at hotel.
Early morning scenic flight to Simikot (2910 m). Rest and acclimatization. Short walk if weather permits. Overnight stay.
Helicopter flight to Hilsa. Complete border formalities and drive to Purang (Taklakot). Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Drive to the sacred Mansarovar Lake. Perform parikrama of the lake by vehicle. Evening spiritual activities. Overnight stay at guest house.
Morning spiritual time near lake. Optional visit to Chiu Monastery. Drive to Darchen β base camp for Kailash Parikrama.
Drive to Tarboche (Yam Dwar) and begin Kailash Parikrama. Trek to Dirapuk with close view of North Face of Mount Kailash.
Most challenging day. Trek via Dolma La Pass (5650 m), descend to Gauri Kund and continue to Zutulpuk.
Complete Parikrama and drive back to Purang or Hilsa. Overnight stay.
Helicopter to Simikot. Fly to Nepalgunj and onward flight to Kathmandu. Overnight stay.
Free day for rest and shopping. Evening certificate distribution and farewell dinner.
Transfer to airport for onward journey. Yatra concludes.
