Upon arrival at Gonggar Airport, Lhasa, meet our local representative and transfer to your pre-booked hotel. The drive to the hotel takes approximately 2 hours. The rest of the day is free for acclimatization to the high altitude.

After breakfast, proceed for a guided sightseeing tour of Lhasa visiting Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, and Potala Palace.

After breakfast, visit Norbulinka Palace and then drive to Shigatse (272 km / 7–8 hours). En route enjoy scenic Tibetan landscapes.
Visit Tashillunpo Monastery, the seat of the Panchen Lama. Overnight stay at hotel in Shigatse.
Early breakfast followed by a long scenic drive to Saga. Packed lunch will be provided en route. Upon arrival, check into your hotel/guest house.
Dinner and overnight stay at Saga.
After breakfast, drive through Mayum-La Pass (17,000 ft), the highest motorable pass of the journey. Packed lunch en route.
On arrival at Mansarovar, change to Chinese government transport and complete Mansarovar Parikrama by bus. Overnight stay at dormitory guest house near Mansarovar Lake.
After breakfast, drive to Darchen (approx. 40 km / 1.5 hours). Optional Ashtapad excursion can be arranged at extra cost.
Day free for leisure and acclimatization. Overnight stay in dormitory-style guest house at Darchen.
After breakfast, drive to Yam Dwar (Tarboche) and begin the first day of Mount Kailash Parikrama. Trek approximately 12 km (5 hours) to Dirapukh.
Darshan of North Face of Mount Kailash and Charan Sparsh. Overnight stay at lodge in Dirapukh.
Second and toughest day of Parikrama. Trek 22 km crossing Dolma La Pass (5630 m). After trek, drive to Dongba.
Overnight stay at dormitory guest house.
Drive from Zuthulphuk to New Dongba (340 km / approx. 8 hours). Overnight stay at dormitory guest house.
Morning drive to Saga (232 km / 4–5 hours). Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Shigatse (448 km / 8–9 hours). Overnight stay at hotel.
Drive back to Lhasa (272 km / 5–6 hours). Overnight stay at hotel.
Transfer to Lhasa International Airport to board your return flight. Tour concludes.
